Sunday in December

A Sunday in December. We visited Grandma and Pop the Sunday before we left for New Jersey, December 13th. We had a lot of fun playing on the table, ripping apart the magazines!

North Myrtle Beach

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we took a trip to North Myrtle Beach for some relaxing and fun! We were right on the ocean and it was so nice to look out and see the beach!

Mommy and Daddy got to sleep in while the Grandparents watched McKinley... always nice! We also went to the outlets and got some Christmas shopping done! It was a really nice trip, we all enjoyed ourselves!

Bailey

Here is a really cute picture of McKinley and Bailey. He is such the animal lover! He has a book named "Pat Them Gently" that teaches him how to treat animals, I read it to him all the time. He loves it, I think its all the puppy and kitty pictures!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year in Chapel Hill. We got to sleep in, watch the parade, and eat lots of delicious food! It was the perfect time to give Thanks for all the joyous events in 2009 - which were plentiful. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Halloween 2009

McKinley's First Halloween!

For Halloween we went to Jody and Sarah's house in Durham. They always go all out with amazing decorations every Halloween... Their whole front yard is transformed into a spooky scene. Their neighborhood also attracts tons of kids! It is so much fun to see them all and hand out candy! McKinley went dressed as a Green Dinosaur and he carried a little teddy dino buddy. It was too cute! He really enjoyed watching all the kids. But, no candy this year!

What a pretty day to be out and about downtown Wilmington!

Downtown Wilmington is so much fun. It is an historic port on the Cape Fear River with lots of fun things to do and see. We went to a glass blowing studio and watched the glass blowers make a glass pumpkin, it was really neat. Then we walked down the Riverwalk which is right on the Cape Fear River and enjoyed the views. We also took a quick little boat ride up and down the Wilmington river front to check out the water and the views of downtown from the water, it was so nice! We were all tired after that and went home to relax!

At Carolina Beach, another great beach in North Carolina, we happened upon some unoccupied lifeguard stands... So naturally, we decided to climb them! While some of us had more of a climb than others... we all felt like life savers!

Another Beautiful Day

When Dad was here we visited Wrightsville Beach. It is so nice this time of year because the weather is perfect and the beach is empty. We spent a few hours just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful day. It is so peaceful on the beach, watching the ocean with a cool breeze and the warm sun, it melts away all your cares. McKinley and I have been trying to go once a week to enjoy Autumn before the weather turns too cold.

Everyone was on the porch enjoying the night, watching Dad grill up some steaks!

Cracker Barrel

After picking up Dad from the airport, we stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Myrtle Beach for some breakfast! It was a great break before the ride back to Wilmington.

A Jersey Visit

The end of October, we had a very special visitor... Dad! Or Grandpa V or Lou Lou or ?!

As it was the second time my Dad has gotten to spend time with his Grandson, McKinley, it was only appropriate that he spent an entire week with us to bond in his own special way!

Christina was able to spend a few days with us as well. It was really nice having her there and us all together!

I'm not sure if McKinley understands you Dad.

It didn't keep him from talking to him continuously though!

I must admit, we were very spoiled. We had "Bobby Flay" at the grill almost every night making delicious and very large meals! Also, we got a new grill, which we absolutely love! Thanks Dad!

Hello Everyone! I am on the go! Can't catch me! Heading for the cat food, because that's where the cat hangs out, and the computer because I want to bang on it!!! Mid-October I figured out how to use my arms and legs in my favor! Daddy eat my dust!
