Christina's Birthday!

Happy 27th Birthday Aunt Christina!! We hope you like all your presents!

One of the ways we celebrated Christina's birthday this year was dinner at El Cerro Grande... A delicious Mexican restaurant in Wilmington! Of course, we had to get a pitcher of margaritas to help with the festivities!

Will, Christina, and Joe-Joe, Will's friend and roommate, enjoying the chips and salsa.

Even McKinley made it out to El Cerro for some birthday fun! Sorry McKinley, no mexican for you... despite your attempts to reach for everything on the table.

Happy Birthday once again Aunt Christina, we love you!

Pumpkin Patch

Since fall has finally blown into our lives like a cool breeze on a summer day, we decided to celebrate the season with some pumpkin patch fun!

Every year, Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, the church we will be members of soon and the church my Grandparents have been going to for years, creates a fun filled pumpkin patch on their lawn. The patch is complete with pumpkins of all sizes, hay, Indian corn, and lights strung from the trees. Many people in Wilmington actually call it "The pumpkin church" it is such a well known occurrence in town.

"Here I am in the hat Great-Grandma Ozzie just made for me!! Thank you, I love you and my new hat!" ~McKinley

Pumpkin patch family :o)

I'm a pumpkin head!

I like to be held by Pop and Grandma in the middle of all the pumpkins! Which one to pick??

Happy Harvest!

First Food!

McKinley ventured to Rice Cereal on September 19th 2009

Hesistant at first, we soon become pros!

I am waiting Mommy, hurry up!! :o)

Gooble Gooble!

The first few tries were a mess, a really really cute mess!

It's so amazing watching my little baby grow, and starting to eat solid foods is such a huge part of that... We could hardly wait to see McKinley's reaction to his first try of rice cereal... excitement turned a little subdued for Mommy, "I am being replaced slowly by rice!" :o) But, that feeling passed fast and now I am going to the farmer's market on Saturday mornings to buy fresh, local vegetables and turning them into baby food for when McKinley is ready for his next solid first's!
